Man Rushed to Hospital After Chemical Attack at Piccadilly Circus

A man has been rushed to hospital with chemical burns following a shocking attack at Piccadilly Circus underground station early this morning.

Emergency Services Sprint to Scene

Just before 7am on Sunday, December 11, emergency teams flocked to the busy tube station after reports of a corrosive substance attack. The victim received treatment at the scene before being swiftly taken to hospital.

The London Ambulance Service deployed both an ambulance crew and a fast-response medic car, while the London Fire Brigade arrived with specialist “DIM” units – Detection, Identification, and Monitoring equipment – to tackle the dangerous chemical threat.

Investigation Underway as Police Cordone Area

Police have sealed off the area, turning Piccadilly Circus into a crime scene. A Met Police spokesman confirmed the man reported eye irritation around 6.45am but “did not see any substance thrown or sprayed”.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances,” the spokesman said.

So far, no arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
