Serious Pedestrian Crash Shuts Key Road in Thames Valley
Thames Valley Police are investigating a serious collision involving a pedestrian that happened just after 11.25pm on Monday (13/03). The victim has sustained serious injuries. The force has shut the road while they carry out their inquiries, expected to last through the night.

Officers have sealed off the area to keep the investigation safe and thorough. National Highways has deployed traffic management teams to control the flow and minimise disruption.

- Exit the A34 at Hinksey Hill Interchange.
- Turn right at the roundabout onto the A4074 (Oxford Southern Bypass).
- Pass the Kennington roundabout; then turn left at Heyford Hill roundabout onto the A4142 Eastern Bypass.
- Follow the A4142 to the A40 Headington roundabout; take the second exit onto the A40 Northern Bypass.
- At the A44 roundabout, take the fourth exit to join the A44.
- Continue to the A34 Peartree Interchange and take the third exit at the roundabout to rejoin A34 northbound.
