Teen Arrested in Shocking High Hazels Park Rape Case
A 14-year-old boy is in police custody after being arrested this morning (4 December) on suspicion of joint enterprise rape. The arrest comes following a horrific attack on 23 November, when a 21-year-old woman was raped by a group of four males in High Hazels Park at around 6pm.
Two Teens Charged Over Attack
Last night (3 December), two teenage boys were charged in connection with the terrifying incident. A 16-year-old has been charged with rape, while the 14-year-old faces charges of attempted sexual assault.
Other Teens Released on Bail
Two other boys, aged 13 and 15, were also arrested on suspicion of rape but have since been released on bail as investigations continue.
The police are continuing to urge anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
