Police Warn: Follow Road Safety Rules or Face Court

“Wearing a seatbelt and not using your phone are two very simple actions which if followed, keep the roads safe for everyone and mean drivers avoid potential court action,” said Inspector James Wyles of the Folkestone and Hythe Community Safety Unit.

He added, “Everyone has a part to play when it comes to road safety and I would urge people to consider that before they get behind the wheel.”

Officers plan more crackdowns as part of the Safer Autumn campaign to slash road fatalities.
