Relentless Abuser Jailed for Spitting in Victim’s Face and Slashing Child’s Cot
A vicious abuser who tortured a woman with emotional and physical torment for almost two years has finally been locked up. Cameron Blakeley, 29, was sentenced at maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Crown Court after admitting to a cruel campaign of control and violence near Tonbridge, Kent.
Brutal Abuse Behind Closed Doors
Blakeley met his victim in July 2022 and soon unleashed a torrent of abuse. He constantly insulted her, monitored her every move, and humiliated her in front of family and friends. His control was suffocating.
- He spat in her face and headbutted her during violent outbursts.
- Slashed a child’s cot with a craft knife.
- Dragged her hair and threatened her if she called the police.
- Committed attacks while high on alcohol and cocaine.
- Bombarded her phone with calls and messages to regain control when she tried to leave.
Justice Served at Maidstone Crown Court
Blakeley was arrested on 5 August 2024, two days after his most violent attack. He pleaded guilty to controlling or coercive behaviour and criminal damage charges, while an assault charge was ordered to lie on file.
On 11 April 2025, he was sentenced to two years and one month in prison. A five-year restraining order also bans him from contacting the victim upon release.
