Two Held After Brutal Canterbury Bar Brawl
Two men have been arrested following a violent assault outside a popular Canterbury pub. The shocking attack left a man seriously injured and fighting for his life.
Assault Outside Seven Stars Inn
At around 7.40pm on Saturday, 14 May 2022, chaos erupted outside the Seven Stars Inn on Orange Street. A group of men got into a fight, during which a man in his 30s was viciously attacked by two suspects.
The victim suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to a London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Suspects in Custody
Police swooped on Monday morning, 16 May, arresting a 30-year-old and a 27-year-old local men on suspicion of assault. Both are now in police custody as inquiries continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or has video footage to come forward. They are keen to gather all information to aid the investigation.
