Drugs Raid Uncovers Massive Haul
A man and a woman were arrested following a major drugs recovery linked to a Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate probe.
On the afternoon of Wednesday 18 August 2021, officers raided a property on Marlowe Close, Maldon. They seized 11 pressed blocks of suspected drugs, along with large quantities of powder thought to include cocaine, heroin, cutting agents, cannabis, and a haul of cash.
Man Charged with Multiple Drug Offences
Ged Shone-Porter, 25, from Marlowe Close, was charged with three counts of conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin, and cannabis. He also faces charges of possessing criminal property due to the cash discovered during the raid.
Shone-Porter was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 20 August.
Woman Released Pending Investigation
A 25-year-old woman arrested during the operation, hailing from London, has been released on bail pending further inquiry.
