Teen Arrested After Early Morning Stabbing in Deal
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested following a stabbing incident on Queen Street at around 3.10am on Sunday, 30 May 2021.
Fight Breaks Out Between Groups
The victim, a man in his 20s, was walking with a friend when another group of youngsters approached. Words were exchanged, sparking a fight. During the scuffle, the victim was stabbed but the wound is not believed to be life-threatening.
He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigation Underway
Police reviewed CCTV footage and quickly arrested the 16-year-old from Deal on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody as inquiries continue.
