Man Arrested Over Serious Sexual Offence Against Teen in Liverpool ‘Grotto’
Police swooped at 2.35pm on Monday 2 January 2023 after a 16-year-old girl reported a serious sexual assault in a local spot known as the ‘cave’ or ‘grotto’ on Croxteth Drive, Liverpool.
32-Year-Old Man Released on Bail
A 32-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of rape but has since been released on conditional bail while investigations continue.
The victim is receiving specialist support from detectives experienced in handling such cases.
