Three Teenagers Face Murder Charges Over Eltham Stabbing
Yusuf Aydin, 21, Jack Davies, 19, both from Greenwich, and a 16-year-old boy are set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 12 February. They face charges of murder following the stabbing death of Bartosz “Bartek” Wyrzykowski in Eltham.
Fatal Stabbing on Lionel Road
Police launched a murder investigation after officers were called at 17:11 on Tuesday, 8 February, to reports of a stabbing on Lionel Road, SE9. Paramedics and police found Bartek with multiple stab wounds. Despite treatment at the scene and rushed hospital care, Bartek was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Victim’s Family Supported as Police Probe Continues
The victim’s next of kin are receiving support from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command. A post-mortem on Friday confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound to the pelvis.
Two Women Arrested for Assisting Offenders
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of helping the suspects. They have since been released on bail as investigations continue.
