‘Beloved Son’ Stabbed to Death in Tragic Night
Kyle’s mother today paid a heart-wrenching tribute to her son, describing him as a “beloved, sweet, gentle son, who wouldn’t even hurt a fly.”
She said: “Every second without him is pure torture. Our hearts have been shattered into a million pieces.”
Talented Teen Basketball Player Taken Too Soon
The grieving mother remembered Kyle as a “talented and dedicated basketball player and a keen enthusiast.” She added, “So many parents told me how polite and cheerful you were. My baby, we were blessed to have had such fantastic 17 years with you. We are struggling to go on without you.”
“A parent should not have to bury her child. No child deserves this. Myself, your dad, your brother, your friends and the community are devastated.”
Fatal Stabbing Sparks Murder Investigation
Police were called to the Greenhill Road junction with Copped Hall Drive at 10.50pm after reports a teenager had been stabbed. Kyle was sadly pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the attack.
Surrey and Sussex’s Major Crime Team has launched a murder investigation. A 17-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody.
Kyle’s family is being supported by specially trained officers as they face this tragic loss. The community stands united in shock and grief over the senseless killing.
