Maidstone Man Busted for Faking Police Blue Lights on M2

A 33-year-old driver from Maidstone faces tough charges after allegedly using blue flashing lights to pull over another motorist on the M2.

Blue Lights Spark Suspicion on the Motorway

The drama unfolded around 6.30pm on Saturday, 19 October 2019. Two cars were seen having an altercation near Bluebell Hill, just before joining the London-bound M2.

One driver reportedly flashed a blue light from the front of his vehicle, forcing the other to pull onto the hard shoulder. Sensing something was off, the victim dialled 999 to report a possible impersonation.

Christopher 1 Charged with Impersonating Police

Police quickly arrested 33-year-old Christopher 1 of Redstart Avenue, Maidstone. He was charged with impersonating a police officer.

That’s not all. He also faces a public order offence charge over alleged threats and abusive language directed at a police officer.

Christopher 1 has been bailed and is due to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 8 November 2019.
