Nurseries and schools in Leeds are on high alert after a convicted sex offender with a sick “nappy fetish” was spotted prowling the area.

Anthony Jackson’s Disturbing Past Exposed

Anthony Jackson, 35, who also uses the aliases Gavin Henderson, Howard Johnson, and Harry Kelly, has a vile history. Previously convicted for possessing indecent images of children, he recently targeted childcare centres in Pudsey by posing as a parent looking to enrol kids under false names.

His suspicious behaviour last year triggered alarms and led to his arrest on January 27.

Horrific Child Abuse Images Found

Police seized Jackson’s iPhone and HP laptop, uncovering 281 computer-generated images showing children as young as two being raped. These shocking findings exposed the full horror of his twisted “nappy fetish” obsession.

Authorities labelled him “a paedo with a nappy fetish” after Jackson admitted visiting nurseries just to collect freebies, fueling his sick fantasies.

Two-Year Jail Term for Jackson

Jackson appeared at Leeds Crown Court from HMP Leeds in April, pleading guilty to:

  • Two counts of fraud
  • Two breaches of sex offender registration
  • A breach of special licence conditions
  • Possession of prohibited images of children

Judge Richard Mansell blasted Jackson: “A probation officer believes you are hiding behind the nappy fetish. It gives me considerable concern that you are a registered sex offender and you are attending places like that.”

He was sentenced to two years behind bars on April 7, 2025.

Police Warn Childcare Providers to Stay Vigilant

West Yorkshire Police have issued an urgent warning to all nurseries, schools, and childminders across Leeds. They urge immediate reporting of any contact or sightings of Jackson.

“If Anthony Jackson makes contact with any school, nursery or childminders, police need to be called immediately. Any suspicious activity or anyone matching his description should be reported on 101 or via the West Yorkshire Police website.”

Officials stress the need for vigilance to keep children safe from this dangerous predator lurking near childcare centres.
