County Lines Drug Boss Nabbed with £230,000 Worth of Class A Drugs!
Top Dealer Caught in Police Raid
Steven Ojeymi, 25, the kingpin behind a North Kent county lines drug racket, has been locked up for six years. The Battersea man was busted after cops stormed his home and uncovered a drug stash worth up to £230,000.
Massive Haul: Crack, Heroin, Cash & Phones
On 6 August 2019, officers swooped at 6.35pm and found Ojeymi inside. A police drug dog sniffed out supermarket bags packed with large amounts of crack cocaine and heroin hidden in a bin under clothes. They also seized about £7,500 in cash, along with 22 mobile phones and 19 SIM cards – tools of the trade for running his illicit empire.
Judge Deals Heavy Blow to County Lines Network
Ojeymi pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of criminal property. Woolwich Crown Court sentenced him on 16 December 2019.
Police Vow to Stamp Out Drug Dealing
“Ojeymi was orchestrating county lines dealing to north Kent and this result means that we have once again disrupted a network supplying drugs to the vulnerable in our society,” said DC Terry Hanlon from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate. “We will relentlessly pursue those intent on dealing drugs in our county and bring them to justice.”
