Dartford Man Jailed for Life After Savage Murder and Post-Mortem Abuse
A Dartford man has been locked up for life after stabbing a woman to death in her sleep—and sexually abusing her body.
Brutal Attack Exposed by Chilling Confession
Ernestas Juska, 21, plunged a large kitchen knife into the 39-year-old victim, causing catastrophic wounds. She was found dead in bed at his Henderson Drive home.
In a chilling twist, Juska approached a passerby on Wordsworth Way early on August 17, 2024, urging them to call the police—confessing he had just killed someone. Officers swiftly arrested him at a nearby bus stop, where he then led them back to the grisly crime scene.
Dark Motive Behind Disturbed Killer’s Attack
In custody, Juska revealed the victim was a family friend staying overnight. He admitted to killing her to “lash out,” deliberately picking someone not closely connected to him. Under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, he grabbed the knife around 6.40am and attacked while she slept.
After the murder, he horrifically sexually abused the corpse. He was charged with murder and a sexual offence against a deceased woman.
Judge Condemns ‘Deeply Disturbed’ Killer
At Maidstone Crown Court, Juska pleaded guilty. On November 28, 2025, he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 24 years and seven months before parole can be considered.
Judge Justice Dexter Dias KC: “Juska is a deeply disturbed individual responsible for an extreme explosion of sexual and sadistic conduct. There may never be a time when it is safe to release you.”
Detective Sergeant Max Gregory called the attack “shocking and senseless brutality.” He added: “Juska targeted a helpless victim as she slept and inflicted multiple injuries during a sustained and savage attack. His depravity after her death defies belief. This has devastated a family and robbed the community of a much-loved woman.”
