Son Charged with Murder After Father Stabbed to Death in Putney
A 30-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his 75-year-old father in a shocking stabbing in Putney, Wandsworth.

Rory Talbot, from Mossbury Road, was arrested on Saturday, 25 January, following the fatal stabbing of his father, Mark Talbot, at around 3.36am the previous day. Police were called to a property on Deodar Road, SW15, after reports of a stabbing.
London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene but despite their efforts, Mark Talbot was pronounced dead at the location.
Son Remanded & Court Date Set
Rory Talbot has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 January.
Family Mourns Loss
“We are grateful for the support provided by police, our neighbours, and others. We ask that our privacy is respected while we come to terms with the tragic loss of a highly respected member of the community,” the family said in a statement.
Specialist officers continue to support the grieving family as the local community reels from this tragic event.
