Man Bludgeoned to Death in Shocking Early Morning Attack

A murder investigation is underway in Kent after a man was brutally bludgeoned to death in the early hours. Paramedics tried to save him but he sadly died at the scene.

Police have locked down Hamerton Road, Northfleet, following the violent attack at a local property. Officers remain on guard as the entire road is sealed off with police cordons.

Specialist crime scene teams in white suits were seen entering number 17 Hamerton Road. Meanwhile, officers with search dogs combed the street and nearby land behind Northfleet Railway Station.

Kent Police confirmed they were called by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 2:46am on Tuesday 4 February 2020 after reports of a seriously injured man. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before he was pronounced dead.

“Officers remain at the scene and Hamerton Road is currently closed,” Kent Police said in a brief statement. Enquiries into the shocking assault continue.
