Jail for Duo After Brutal London Stabbing
Kieran Morgan, 23, from Berger Road, E9, and Daniel Onyewuenyi, 30, of Forest Grove, E8, have been locked up for over 13 years following a savage attack that left three men injured.
Damning CCTV Evidence Cracks Case
Police pieced together the case thanks to diligent CCTV work. Officers linked the suspects to the scene after recovering jackets worn during the attack from their homes.
Onyewuenyi was arrested on May 25 after searches uncovered the jacket he wore during the assault. He was sentenced to four years behind bars.
Brutal Attack After Minor Row
“Morgan and Onyewuenyi were intent on causing harm and carried out a brutal attack on three men following a minor dispute,” said Luke Martinez from the Met’s Specialist Crime South.
Morgan stabbed his victims in the head and chest. “He showed no regard for their lives. It’s sheer luck all three escaped serious injury,” added Martinez.
“This could easily have been a murder investigation. Those who carry out such attacks have no place in a civilised society.”
Police continue to work with communities to cut violent crime and bring offenders to justice.
