Tragic Death at Poole Holiday Park After Brutal Assault

A man has died from serious injuries following a violent attack at Rockley Park Holiday Park in Poole.

Assault Sparks Emergency Call

Police rushed to Rockley Park on Napier Road at 1.04am on Sunday, 8 May 2016, after reports of an assault. The victim, 64-year-old Kenneth David Dickie, suffered life-threatening head injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital.

Victim Dies, Suspects in Custody

Tragically, Mr Dickie passed away in hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, 14 May. His family has been informed, and the coroner has been notified. A 34-year-old man from Poole has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is set to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, 9 June 2016.

Woman Arrested and Released on Bail

A 57-year-old Poole woman was also arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and perverting the course of justice. She has been released on police bail until mid-July pending further investigation.
