London rocked by a wave of violent attacks last week as brutal stabbings and shootings left several injured and one teen fighting for life.

Wembley Shooting: Teen in Critical Condition

At 5.27am on Sunday, September 21, police rushed to Atlantic Crescent in Wembley Park after reports of a shooting. An 18-year-old was found unconscious outside the Crystal Club near South Way and First Way. Four days on, he remains in a critical condition.

Rafael Reveane Rodriguez, 39, from Morden, was charged with attempted murder on September 24. Dennis Gambrah, 32, from Lewisham, was arrested and charged on September 23. Six others remain in custody linked to the case.

Leicester Square Knife Attack: Four Injured

Just past 1am on Sunday, September 21, four men in their 20s and 30s were slashed in a knife attack in Leicester Square’s busy heart. Luckily, none suffered life-threatening wounds.

A 50-year-old man was arrested and now faces multiple charges, including grievous bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon, affray, and possession of Class B drugs.

Knife Incidents Rock Edgware and Paddington

  • Monday, September 22: Police and paramedics responded to a man wielding a knife at McDonald’s on Stonegrove, Edgware. A teenage boy was treated for a minor knee cut and released.
  • Tuesday, September 23: A 16-year-old was stabbed in the arm near Paddington Green around midday. He was hospitalised but discharged with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old from Westminster has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of a Class B drug. He appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on September 25 and is now remanded in custody.

Brixton Brawl: Two Teens Injured in Knife Fight

Just after 5pm on Tuesday, September 23, police found two 16-year-olds injured in a knife fight on Acre Lane, Brixton. One had a stab wound but was stable and not seriously harmed. The other suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
