Tragic Blow in Lancashire: Pregnant Mum and Unborn Baby Die Weeks Before Due Date

Heartbreaking Discovery

Aliesha Fisher, 29, was found dead on the floor of her Lancashire home by her cousin on December 27, 2024. She was 30 weeks pregnant. Her baby girl, later named Aria, showed no signs of life when paramedics arrived.

Emergency Response Arrived Too Late

Paramedics rushed to the property around 10am after the cousin’s heartbreaking discovery. Aliesha had last been seen alive just 11 hours earlier, at 11pm the previous night. Despite frantic efforts, neither mum nor baby could be revived.

The London Ambulance Service confirmed that both showed no signs of life at the scene.

Inquest Opens to Probe Cause

Preston Coroner’s Court has launched an inquest into this tragic double death. Area Coroner Kate Bisset reassured the public there is no suggestion of self-harm or foul play.

“The final inquest will consider the cause of death and what led to the tragic loss of this young woman and her unborn baby,” Coroner Bisset said.

The full inquest is scheduled for July 16, 2025.

Touching Tributes Flood In

A MuchLoved memorial page has been created, raising funds for Epilepsy Action – a charity close to Aliesha’s heart.

One tribute reads:

“All I think about is you in that room by yourself with Aria, dark and cold. I hope you’re surrounded by love and laughter, Aliesha. Sleep tight and finally sleep peacefully. I love you forever and a day.”

A Life Taken Too Soon

Friends and family described Aliesha as a “gorgeous girl” and a “caring soul” who was eagerly anticipating her baby’s arrival. Her sudden death has left a deep hole in the local community.
