Man, 25, Charged With Murder After Fatal Stabbing at Oxford Circus
Tedi Fanta Hagos, 25, from Ravenhill, Swansea, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He faces Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 3 July, after a brutal stabbing near Oxford Circus.
Fatal Stabbing Shocks London’s West End
Police were called just before 8pm on Thursday, 1 July, after reports of a man stabbed near the junction of Oxford Circus and Regent Street, W1. Emergency crews, including London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene.
A 60-year-old victim was found with serious stab wounds and taken to hospital, but tragically, he later died.
Investigation Underway – Police Seek Witnesses
Officers have informed the victim’s next of kin and are providing support through specially trained staff. A post-mortem is set to be scheduled soon.
