Man in 40s Left Fighting for Life After Brutal Assault in Kent

Late on Tuesday, June 7, a man suffered a serious head injury in Leander Drive. Kent Police rushed to the scene around 11.35 p.m. and airlifted the victim to a London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Three Men Arrested Over Violent Attack

On Thursday, June 9, officers arrested three men:

  • A 20-year-old from Gravesend
  • A 37-year-old from Gravesend
  • A 36-year-old from Rochester

All are held on suspicion of assault. They have since been released on bail until July 3 as police continue their probe.

Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Owners to Come Forward

“We are appealing for witnesses who were in Leander Drive at the time of the incident to call our appeal line,” said Detective Inspector Paul Fewtrell of North Kent CID. “We’re also asking drivers with dashcams and residents with private CCTV to check footage that might help our investigation.”
