Three teenage boys have been found guilty following the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Mohanad Abdullaahi Goobe in Manchester last September.
Guilty Verdicts Delivered at Bolton Crown Court
On Thursday 2 April, a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old were convicted of murder. Meanwhile, a 14-year-old was found guilty of manslaughter in connection with the shocking attack.
Fatal Stabbing in Manchester Street
At around 4.30pm on Monday 15 September 2025, emergency services rushed to the junction of Moss Lane East and Monton Street after reports of a stabbing. Despite desperate attempts by medical staff, Mohanad later died that evening.
Sentencing Scheduled for May
After a trial that began last month at Bolton Crown Court, all three teenagers were remanded in custody. Sentencing is set for Thursday 21 May 2026.
