Three Men Jailed Over Crack, Heroin and Cocaine Drug Ring

Three men were locked up for over ten years combined after a hearing at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 1 December. They all pleaded guilty earlier to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, including crack, heroin, and cocaine.

Sentences Handed Down

  • Jorrell Ankrah, 27, of Boulevard Drive, NW9, got four years for conspiracy to supply crack and heroin.
  • Kevin Moata, 30, of no fixed address, was sentenced to three years and two months for conspiracy to supply crack and heroin.
  • Douglas Pereira, 20, of Ferrers Road, SW16, received three years and four months for conspiracy to supply crack and heroin, plus possession with intent to sell cocaine.

Police Crack Down on Drug Dealers

Sergeant Nick Stylianou from the Specialist Crime North Proactive Team said:

“This operation uncovered a group dealing Class A drugs over ten months, living lavish lifestyles funded by crime. Our dedication to tackling drug supply continues, as it’s linked to exploitation and serious violence causing untold misery.”

The probe kicked off after officers stopped Pereira in Tottenham on 27 September 2022. He tried to flee but was caught with several wraps of Class A drugs and a phone. Data from the phone linked him to Ankrah and Moata, who ran the Mikey drugs line.

Pereira was initially bailed but then charged on 4 October 2022. Ankrah was arrested the same day, with a phone in his possession confirmed as the main drugs line. Pereira had contacted this number hundreds of times daily.

Moata was tracked down and arrested in location withheld on 18 October 2022, then returned to London for questioning.

Warning to Drug Dealers

Sergeant Stylianou added:

“Let this be a warning to those involved in drug dealing – if you engage in crime, you will be found, arrested, and face the courts.”
