Two Men Held After Greenhithe Shooting
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in Greenhithe. The victim, a man in his 30s, was injured in the arm during the incident in Cooper Close at around 7.45pm on Sunday, 8 March 2020.
Victim Stable in Hospital
The injured man remains in hospital in stable condition. Police have detained a 38-year-old local man from Greenhithe and a 41-year-old suspect from south east London. Both remain in custody as investigations continue.
Police Urge Public to Come Forward
“Our enquiries into this incident are very much in their early stages and members of the public may see an increased police presence in the Cooper Close area while we seek to establish the full circumstances,” said Detective Chief Inspector Gavin Moss, Kent Police’s senior investigating officer.
