The flight crew of Ryanair’s FR271 reported the disruption mid-air and requested police assistance ahead of landing. Gardaí were waiting when the plane arrived, swiftly taking the two men into custody.
“Gardaí attached to Dublin Airport arrested two men, one in his 30s and the other in his 40s, following an incident on board an aircraft that landed last night,” a Garda spokesperson confirmed.
