Brutal Machete Attack: Two Men Jailed for Stabbing Victim Repeatedly in Home Invasion
Frenzied Knife Attack in Victim’s Home
Grant Odejeh and Elias Spencer launched a savage knife assault on a defenceless man in his own home. The victim was stabbed repeatedly while lying on the floor, suffering life-threatening injuries in a terrifying attack on November 20, 2021.
Odejeh had earlier threatened the man in Temple Hill Square, saying, “You’re lucky I’m not doing you right now. I’m going to stab you and kill you.” Later, Odejeh, Spencer, and a third accomplice forced their way into the victim’s house armed with knives, including a machete.
Chased and Stabbed in Front of Relatives
The intruders chased the victim around his home until he tripped and fell. They then stabbed and slashed him relentlessly in front of his terrified relative and their partner. The attackers fled as the injured man was rushed to hospital, where he was flown to a specialist London centre to treat a severed artery in his leg.

Police Condemn Violent Attackers
“There can be little doubt that Odejeh and Spencer are excessively violent and extremely dangerous offenders,” said PC Scott Spedding, who led the investigation. “They subjected the victim to a terrifying and frenzied assault, clearly intent on causing the most harm possible. It is only through good fortune and quick thinking by those present that the victim was not killed.”
