Two Teens Found Guilty in Ezekiel Clarke’s Tragic Stabbing Death
Two teenagers have been convicted over the murder of 17-year-old Ezekiel Clarke, who was fatally stabbed in February. A 16-year-old boy, whose name cannot be revealed due to legal reasons, was found guilty of murder.
He was also convicted for robbery and possession of a bladed weapon in a separate incident. Jaheim Williams, 19, from Trafalgar Close, Radford, was found guilty of manslaughter at Nottingham Crown Court.
Ezekiel Clarke Stabbed Twice in Deadly Attack
Ezekiel died on 19 February after being stabbed twice in Radford. Emergency crews were called to Churchfield Lane at around 7.10pm following reports of a stabbing. Both teens fled the scene, leaving Ezekiel to die on the street.
A post-mortem revealed Ezekiel’s fatal wounds came from a second stab to his heart, liver, and lung. The first stab injured his arm and chest.
Knife-Point Robbery Linked to Murderer
Detectives worked tirelessly and made four arrests during their investigation. Two other teenagers were released with no further action. The 16-year-old was also involved in a knife-point robbery two days before Ezekiel’s murder.
On 17 February, the teen threatened a 17-year-old boy with a knife in Norton Street, Radford, stealing a coat, rucksack, and chain.
Sentencing Set for Monday
Both defendants are due to be sentenced on Monday. The community awaits justice for Ezekiel Clarke, whose life was cut tragically short.
