Woman Charged with Murder After 69-Year-Old Found Stabbed in Camden
A 69-year-old woman has been charged with murder following the deadly stabbing of Jennifer Abbott in Camden.
Suspect in Custody After Fatal Stabbing
Nancy Pexton, aged 69, from Gloucester Place, Westminster, was formally charged with murder on Friday, 20 June. She was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court later that day.
Incident Unfolded at Camden Home
The Metropolitan Police launched an urgent probe after the London Ambulance Service was called to a residential address on Mornington Place, Camden, around 6pm on Friday, 13 June.
Officers arrived to find Jennifer Abbott suffering from stab wounds. Despite emergency treatment at the scene, she was pronounced dead.
Investigation Ongoing as Family Supported
The victim was identified as Jennifer Abbott, 69. Her family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers. A post-mortem on Sunday, 15 June, confirmed her cause of death as sharp force trauma.
