Friends Turned Foes: Woman Subjected to Horrific Abuse in Harlesden Flat
Toni Thompson, 26, and Phoebe Hing, 21, lured their 27-year-old victim to their Harlesden flat on Halloween 2019. What followed was a degrading and brutal attack that shocked everyone.
Horrific Abuse Caught on Camera
- The victim was forced to lick yoghurt off the floor and drink washing-up liquid.
- Her face was sprayed with mould spray and drenched in food.
- She was punched, kicked, and put in a cold shower fully clothed.
- Afterwards, she was forced to vacuum the flat.
The abuse was filmed by Liam O’Neill, 22, who did nothing to stop it. The videos were shared on Snapchat, spreading the humiliation further.
Five Hours of Torment and Threats
The victim was trapped for five hours before being allowed to leave. She was threatened with more violence if she reported the attack. Despite this, she bravely went to the police a few days later.
Justice Served at Harrow Crown Court
- Toni Thompson got two years for false imprisonment and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
- Phoebe Hing also received two years for the same charges.
- Liam O’Neill was sentenced to two years for encouraging and assisting the crime by filming it.
Raj Clare from the CPS said: “This was a cruel, sickening attack on a woman by people she trusted. Thompson and Hing took pleasure in humiliating their victim. O’Neill filmed the abuse and did nothing to stop it. The videos went viral and caused lasting trauma.”
“The victim felt like an animal. I commend her bravery in reporting this crime. We will always prosecute such vile behaviour.”
An indefinite restraining order now forbids the trio from contacting their victim, ensuring she can begin to heal away from their menace.
