Chav, 19, Busted After Brutal Portsmouth Attack Leaves Man Fighting for Life

Police have arrested a 19-year-old Southsea man following a vicious assault in Portsmouth’s Guildhall area.

Man Found Unconscious With Serious Injuries

On Monday 31 July, officers found a 45-year-old man unconscious near the Civic Offices, on a walkway leading to Isambard Brunel Road. The victim was rushed to Southampton General Hospital in critical condition, suffering a brain bleed, skull fractures, broken facial bones, and damaged ribs.

Suspect Arrested on Grievous Bodily Harm Charges

The 19-year-old is currently in police custody, held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. No further details on the motive or circumstances have been released.
