Police in Herne Bay have slammed the brakes on a suspect caught with two weapons and possible stolen gear.
Suspicious Behaviour Sparks Arrest
On Monday 7 August 2023, officers patrolling Station Road spotted a man acting shady. A stop-and-search revealed a small lock-knife, a wad of cash, and two mobile phones.
Lock-Knives and Vehicle Theft Items Seized
The 24-year-old was arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon and taken to custody. A follow-up search at a Queen Street property uncovered another lock-knife plus items believed linked to car theft.
The man remains in custody as investigations ramp up.
