Police and Ambulance Teams Rushed, No Injuries Found
Kent Police were scrambled to a home at 7:40am on Saturday, April 2, 2022, after receiving a report of a stabbing. Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene only to discover it was a hoax—no one was hurt.
The woman in her 40s was arrested and is now in police custody.
Emergency Services Warn of Serious Consequences
Inspector Stefan Martin from Kent Police’s Force Control Room slammed the prank. He said: “Calls of this nature can cost lives. When resources are tied up on hoaxes, genuine emergencies can be delayed.”
“This isn’t taken lightly. Anyone making malicious or hoax calls will be dealt with firmly,”
Reminder: Don’t Tie Up Emergency Lines
