Violent Disturbance Shakes Enfield Evening Rush
Just before 6pm on Saturday, police swooped on a violent disturbance on Hertford Road, Enfield. The bustling street was temporarily shut down as officers tackled the chaos.
Road Closure and Arrests
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they found the scene at 5.50pm. After the incident, Hertford Road was closed for a short period but has since reopened.
Three men and one woman were arrested on the spot. They face serious charges including violent disorder, assault on police, and possession of an offensive weapon.
Neighbourhood on Alert
“No reports of significant injuries have been made,” police said.
To keep things calm, law enforcement put a Section 35 dispersal order in place until 7am Sunday, aimed to prevent further trouble in the area.
