Man Dies After Brutal Whetstone Stabbing – Murder Probe Underway

A murder investigation is underway after a 29-year-old man died following a stabbing in Whetstone, North London.

Knife Attack Sparks Police Hunt

Police were called at 10.24pm on Thursday, 17 June, after reports of a fight on High Road, Whetstone (N20).

Officers and emergency crews found the victim with serious knife wounds. He was rushed to a northwest London hospital but tragically died at around 11.15pm on Saturday, 19 June.

Ten Arrested But All Released Pending Inquiry

Ten men have been arrested in connection with the assault. Five suspects were detained on Friday, 18 June, on suspicion of affray and later released on bail.

The next day, five more men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They have all since been released either on bail or under investigation as detectives press on.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Detectives in the Met’s Specialist Crime Command want to hear from anyone who saw the incident. At least one bystander is believed to have filmed the stabbing on their phone.
