Fatal Flat Fire in Beckton Sparks Emergency Blitz

London Ambulance Service Statement
“We were called at 5.26pm today (6 April) to reports of a fire on Tollgate Road, Beckton. We sent five ambulance crews, two incident response officers, an advanced paramedic, clinical team manager, plus tactical and hazardous response teams. London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched,” a spokesperson said.
“We treated five patients at the scene and transported them to hospital. Sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
