Kent Police Response Officers Honoured in National Week of Action
Heroes on the Frontline
Kent Police response officers are being celebrated for their bravery and dedication during the nationwide National Response Policing ‘Week of Action.’ The event, which kicked off on Monday, June 13, 2022, shines a spotlight on officers who are often the first to arrive at serious crimes, crashes, and emergencies, providing vital help when it matters most.

Kent’s senior cops have been hitting the streets alongside response teams to show solidarity. The force has also organised wellbeing sessions covering crucial issues like mental health, injury prevention, sleep, and nutrition to support officers on the tough frontline.
Record Number of Officers Ready to Serve
Kent Police is gearing up to hit a record 4,145 officers by March 2023 – the largest in the force’s history. Many of these recruits will serve as response officers, alongside Special Constables and specialist teams, all dedicated to quick action across countless daily incidents.
