Jogger Kicked to Ground and Robbed in Whiteley

A female jogger was brutally attacked and robbed during an evening run in Whiteley. The shocking assault happened just after 5.45pm on Friday, December 30.

Man Kicks Jogger Before Snatching Valuables

The 30-year-old woman was running along John Bunyon Close when a man suddenly approached her. He kicked her to the ground before stealing her personal belongings and fleeing the scene on a bicycle.

Suspect Description

  • White male, aged 20-25
  • Skinny build
  • Wearing dark trousers and a hooded top with the hood up
  • Had a bicycle with him

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to come and speak to us. The victim was assaulted before the man stole her personal belongings and then made off from the scene. If you have any information, please get in touch.” – Detective Constable Angela Smith

She added: “As always I would advise people to take precautions when out: try to run with other people where possible, tell someone where you are going and how long you expect to be, and always be aware of your surroundings.”
