Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted in Richmond – Police Hunt Two Suspects
Detectives are on the hunt after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in broad daylight in Richmond. The horrific attack happened at 4.30pm on Tuesday, 5 November, as the victim walked from Queens Road to North Worple Way, SW14.
Two Men Attack Victim, Tear Clothing
Two men approached the girl, tore her clothes, and molested her. Thankfully, she fought back and managed to escape. While not physically injured, the teenager is understandably shaken and is receiving support from specialist officers.
Suspect Descriptions Released
- Suspect 1: Tall, olive-skinned man, possibly mixed race, aged 40-50. He wore a black knee-length jacket with hood up, black gloves, black shoes, and possibly a mask or face covering.
- Suspect 2: White male, stocky build, shorter than suspect one, clean-shaven. He wore a dark, oversized puffa jacket, a hoodie, a navy beanie hat, and black trousers.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Joanne Flynn of South West Command Unit in Richmond said: “This appears to be an isolated incident, but we’ve increased patrols in the area and are reviewing CCTV footage. One offence like this is one too many. If you have any information to help us catch these men, please get in touch.”
