Tragic Crash on B3035: Teen Motorcyclist Dies, Passenger Seriously Injured
Police are probing a fatal smash on the B3035 near Bishops Waltham, close to Botley. The horror crash happened at around 8.45pm last night (Saturday 2 September).
Single-Vehicle Crash Claims Young Rider
Officers say it was a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. The rider, an 18-year-old man, was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital but was sadly pronounced dead. Authorities have informed his next of kin.
Passenger in Hospital with Serious Injuries
The teen motorcyclist’s passenger, a 15-year-old girl, was also taken to hospital. She remains in a serious condition but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Formal identification procedures are underway, so police are unable to name the victim just yet. Anyone who saw the crash is urged to call 101 quoting Operation Key.
