Early Morning Assault and Bike Theft Attempt in Southampton

At around 2.20am on Monday, 23 November, a man in his 20s was attacked at the Esso garage on Northam Road, Southampton.

Attackers Try to Steal Bike, Snatch Bank Card

Two men approached the victim, assaulted him, and tried to steal his bike. Although he escaped, the thugs stole his bank card. They later used it to buy items at the same Esso garage. The victim suffered minor facial injuries during the attack.

Police Hunt Two Suspects

  • Man 1: White, 25-35, medium build, dark hair. Wearing green/grey hooded jacket, possible burgundy Nike jumper with large white logo, blue jeans, white trainers.
  • Man 2: White, 25-35, medium build, dark hair. Wearing black coat, blue jeans, white trainers.
