Tyre Slashings Spark Police Hunt
Nottinghamshire Police are on the case after six vehicles—three vans and three cars—had their tyres punctured by a sharp object overnight. The damage happened in Park Row and East Circus Street, right in the heart of Nottingham city centre.
CCTV Image Released: Man Wanted for Questioning
Officers have now released an image of a suspect they believe can help solve the crime. The man is described as white, with white hair and a matching beard, wearing glasses and a flat cap. He was spotted in an orange high-visibility knee-length jacket and is thought to walk with a limp.
Police Vow to Catch Responsible Vandals
Police Constable Madison Moss-Hayes said: “This was an extensive act of criminal damage causing entirely needless inconvenience and financial impact. Irresponsible acts like this won’t be tolerated and I can reassure people that our inquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible for this unacceptable behaviour.”
