Detectives are on the lookout for witnesses after a schoolgirl was assaulted in broad daylight in Barming.
Man Tries to Open Girl’s Bag – Leaves Her Injured
At around 3.15pm on Thursday 23 January 2020, the girl was walking along St Andrew’s Road when she noticed a man acting suspiciously. Near the junction with Fountain Lane, he rested his arm on her bag and tried to open it. After walking away, the girl realised she had a cut on her hand that needed hospital treatment.
Suspect Description
- White or mixed race male, 20s
- Around 5ft 8ins tall, medium build
- Wearing black bandana, black hooded zip top
- Black Nike jogging bottoms, black trainers
- Fingerless gloves and a cross-body bag
