Three Arrested After Brutal Bedford Stabbing
Three suspects have been nailed in connection with a savage stabbing on Alexandra Road in Bedford last night.
Man in His 20s Left Fighting for Life
At around 9pm on Saturday, police found a man in his 20s with multiple stab wounds. Officers sprang into action, giving first aid before paramedics rushed him to hospital. The victim remains in a serious but stable condition with life-threatening injuries.
Targeted Attack Sparks Major Police Hunt
Bedfordshire Police arrested two men, aged 20s and 40s, plus a woman in her 30s, all held on suspicion of attempted murder. They’re currently in custody being grilled by detectives.
“This was a shocking attack, that has left a young man fighting for his life,” said Detective Inspector Emma Langwith. “We believe this was a targeted assault and are working hard to piece together the events leading up to it.”
“Violence and weapons won’t be tolerated. We will pursue anyone who thinks otherwise.”
