Man Dies After Brutal Attack in Marlpit Lane Shocker
Tragedy Unfolds on Saturday Morning
At 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, police were called to Marlpit Lane after a 47-year-old man was found seriously injured. He was rushed to hospital but sadly died two days later on Monday, July 25.
Three Arrested Over Murder Charge
Following a swift investigation, three men were arrested:
- Joseph Butler, 22, of Priors Leaze Lane, Hambrook
- Tarin Hopkins, 20, of Common Road, Hambrook
- Thomas Goldring, 20, of Lockerley Road, Havant, Hampshire
All three have been charged with murder and are currently remanded in custody. They are due for a preliminary hearing on Monday, August 1, at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.
