18-Year-Old Woman Assaulted in Paisley – Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Detectives are scrambling for info after an 18-year-old woman was attacked in Paisley. The shocking incident happened in the early hours of Monday, April 1, and cops want anyone who saw anything to speak up immediately.
Attack Happened Near Glennifer Road Playing Fields
The victim was walking through the playing fields near Glennifer Road, close to Donaldswood Road, around 2am when a man suddenly confronted and assaulted her. Though she didn’t need hospital treatment, the ordeal left her visibly shaken and distressed.
Suspect Description Released – Have You Seen Him?
The suspect is a white male, about 5ft 8in tall, slim build. He wore light grey clothes at the time. Cops are urging anyone who spotted a man acting suspiciously nearby to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Craig Anderson said: “Our inquiries are ongoing. If you were in the area around the time and saw anyone matching this description, or have dash-cam or phone footage, please get in touch. No detail is too small – you could be key to cracking this.”
