A major incident has been called by the Scottish Ambulance Service following an incident that is currently ongoing. Major Incident Declared In Perth Scottish ambulance service declared at around 6.55 am on Monday 2nd January 2023. A number of trauma centres have been put on standby and are awaiting expected casualties. A number of road closures have been put in place as a result of the ongoing incident affecting Hospital Street, County Place, Leonard Street and New Row within the city centre due to a large fire at the County Hotel with persons reported and unaccounted for.
