Woman Hurts Herself in Front of Police Car During Exeter Search
At 2.23pm on Wednesday 27 January 2021, police were called to Exeter over concerns for a missing woman.
During the search, the woman deliberately threw herself into the path of a moving police vehicle on Dryden Road in a bid to harm herself.
Minor Injuries Sustained
She suffered minor injuries and was quickly taken to hospital for treatment.
Road Closed for Investigation
Dryden Road was closed while officers carried out a thorough investigation. It has now reopened to traffic.
Police Seek Witnesses
Officers are appealing for anyone with information or who saw what happened to call 101 and quote log reference 503 270121.
