Tragic Christmas Eve Murder Rocks Merseyside: Elle Edwards Fatally Shot Outside Pub
Family Devastated by Death of “Brightest Star”
Tim Edwards sat beside Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs as she read a heart-wrenching family statement. Elle Edwards, 26, was described as their “most beautiful and bright star.” The young woman was shot in the head outside a Merseyside pub on Christmas Eve and later died in hospital.
“There was no one as beautiful as our Elle May, her looks, her laugh, and the way she would light up a room the moment she walked in. She had this way about her that as soon as you met her, you fell in love with her,” the family said.
“Her laugh was contagious, and everyone around her was having a good time; she loved her life and had so many exciting plans for the future. Without her, I and our family will never be the same. She was the glue that held our large family together. We will always love and miss her. Elle May will always be the most beautiful and bright star in the sky.”
“My lovely Elle Marlene is the love of my life, my world, and my best friend. My Elle will always shine and be beautiful and bright.”
Police Plea: Help Bring Killer to Justice
Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs described Elle’s death as a “shocking and unnecessary killing.” The family is desperate for answers.
“They need answers, and now more than ever, we need people to come forward and tell us what they know,” Coombs said.
“My investigation team is working around the clock to bring Elle and her family justice. We need the community to take a stand against criminals. Speak up – tell us who is carrying and storing weapons.”
Clues: Dark Mercedes Spotted Near Crime Scene
The police are hunting for a dark-coloured Mercedes seen parked in the pub’s lot around the time of the shooting. Officers want information on where the vehicle came from and where it went.
“We know the answers are in the community,” Coombs added.
If you have any information, contact Merseyside Police immediately. Help bring justice for Elle Edwards.
